The cats and kittens available for adoption come to us in a variety of ways but they all have one thing in common; they were either abandoned, injured, neglected, homeless, or surrendered by their owners. All felines available for adoption have tested negative for both FIV and feline leukemia and their health is monitored while they are in foster care. However, due to the stressful situations under which many of these animals arrive, there is always the chance the animal is incubating a disease without showing clinical signs.
We recommend a visit to your veterinarian within seven days of the adoption date.
Caring Hearts believes these felines to be in good health, but does not guarantee the health of any feline or assume any financial responsibility for future veterinary costs.
In order to adopt a Caring Hearts Rescued Cat/kitten you must:
Be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
Provide your veterinarian’s name and phone number. (We may do a vet reference check)
If you rent, you must provide landlord’s name, phone number, and lease expiration date. (We may call and verify this information.)
Agree to provide kind treatment, daily care, and vet care, including vaccinations.
Agree to meet all requirements so that this pet can live a happy and healthy life for the rest of his or her life with you.
