Caring Hearts is an all volunteer, non profit organization dedicated to finding homes for stray cats and kittens. We have wonderful kittens and cats waiting for their forever homes, and we have kittens and cats suitable for barn homes available for a donation. We are also involved in trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats.
All of our cats live in foster homes until they are fortunate enough to be adopted. Many of our cats are placed through various veterinarians' offices who have partner with us. Our cats and kittens can be visited in their foster homes and at several local veterinarians' office.
Caring Hearts has adoption events for our cats and kittens from 1:00 p.m. til 6:00 p.m. on Sundays at PetSmart in the Hamburg Pavillion located on Pavillion Way near the intersection of I-75 and Man-O-War Blvd. in Lexington, KY.
Caring Hearts also hosts and participates in adoption events throughout the Bluegrass Region of Central Kentucky. Please check back for upcoming events.
All of our cats and kittens are tested for feline leukemia and FIV, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and wormed. Our adoption fee is $75.00.
Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at Panera Bread Bakery and Cafe located the intersection of Harrodsburg Road and Man-O-War in Lexington beginning at 5:30pm. Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday February 7, 2008.
